Port Jervis lodging tax authority lasts longer

Effective immediately, the law extends Port Jervis’s lodging tax authority from September 1, 2025, to September 1, 2027. The authority expires on that date unless extended by another law. This law does not change tax rates or require the city to charge the tax. Guests staying in covered lodging may pay the tax if the city imposes it.
