Effective immediately, Albany County resident Justin Finkle can take the police officer exam despite age limits. A qualifying score makes him eligible for the hiring list for full-time police officers with the Albany County Sheriff's Office. He must still meet civil service merit and fitness requirements. This exception applies only to him and does not guarantee a job.
