Wyoming County extra sales tax authority extended
Effective immediately, the law extends Wyoming County’s extra sales and use tax authority from November 30, 2025, through November 30, 2027. The extra 1% is on top of the allowed 3%, for a county rate up to 4%. The county must adopt or amend a local law, ordinance, or resolution to impose the tax. This law does not itself impose or raise the tax.
