Delaware County is authorized to keep an extra 1% local sales and use tax through November 30, 2027. This sets the county sales tax rate at 4% (3% base plus a 1% add‑on) when imposed. Shoppers pay the extra 1% on taxable purchases made in the county. Retailers in the county must collect the extra 1% at checkout.
