Red light cameras in Westchester County

Westchester County can use red light cameras at up to 50 intersections. If your vehicle runs a red light at a monitored signal, the owner owes a monetary penalty. One location may be on the Saw Mill River Parkway in Pleasantville only with written state DOT approval, which DOT can change or revoke. The county and state post warning signs that meet official standards; signs on the parkway need DOT approval. The county runs a public information campaign before cameras go live to alert and educate drivers.
