The law keeps Medina's local lodging (occupancy) tax in effect through December 31, 2027. It takes effect immediately. Hotels, motels, and short-term rentals in the Village of Medina must collect the tax from guests and send it to the village. Guests who stay overnight in Medina will see this local tax on their bill. The law does not change the tax rate or how the tax is used.
