75% disability pension for Stacie Stueber

The law grants Stacie Stueber a 75% accidental disability pension based on her late husband, Deputy Sheriff Richard Stueber. He retired on March 1, 2019. He took part in World Trade Center rescue and cleanup while with the NYPD and later died from related mental illness. The retirement system ruled on March 12, 2020 that he was permanently disabled from that service. Payments are payable from his retirement date.

Suffolk County must pay all costs to carry out this law. This includes benefit payments and any administrative costs. The State does not cover these costs.
