Putnam Valley lodging tax extended

Lodging businesses in the Town of Putnam Valley must keep charging the town’s occupancy (hotel) tax on overnight stays. The law extends the town’s authority for a set period after the effective date. Guests continue to pay the tax, and businesses must collect and send it to the town. The law takes effect immediately.
