Extra sales tax in Ontario County through 2027

You pay extra county sales and use tax on taxable purchases in Ontario County. An added 0.125% applies from June 1, 2006 through November 30, 2027. An added 0.375% also applies from September 1, 2009 through November 30, 2027. These are on top of the county’s base 3% rate. From September 1, 2009 to November 30, 2027, the combined local rate is 3.5%. Vendors must collect these taxes.
