Managing brokers may require pre-showing agreements

Beginning November 1, 2026, a managing or proprietor broker may require their agents to get a signed buyer agreement before any showing. This applies to branch brokers, broker associates, and sales associates who work for or contract with that firm. The rule covers showings for sales, leases, options, and exchanges.

No state-required contract before showings

Beginning November 1, 2026, Oklahoma does not require a broker and buyer to sign a contract before a showing. Brokers can show property for sale, lease, option, or exchange without a pre-showing agreement under state rules. You can tour homes or rentals without a contract required by state law.
