Beginning July 1, 2026, the Oklahoma Health Care Authority can accept and spend federal funds for the Transforming Maternal Health Model. The money must only pay for maternal health services and supports for pregnant and postpartum people on Oklahoma Medicaid. This funding is used when CMS awards the money and the state participates in the model.
Beginning July 1, 2026, and only if CMS approves and sends extra TMaH funds, the program includes nutrition support services. These services are for pregnant or postpartum Medicaid members who have a diet-related condition or a condition that may raise pregnancy or birth risk. Covered help includes medically tailored home-delivered meals made by a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist to meet your medical needs and to encourage good intake. Nutrition counseling may be offered, but you do not have to take counseling to get the meals.
