Beginning November 1, 2026, licensed distillers can sell for on‑site or take‑home at their distillery and in a controlled area next to it. They can also sell at up to one contiguous location and two non‑contiguous locations in the same county, and at public events like festivals and trade shows. At events, the distiller’s controlled sales area counts as the distillery premises. All products must first be sold to and shipped to an Oklahoma licensed wine and spirits wholesaler. Total sales at the extra sites and events together cannot exceed 15,000 gallons per calendar year. These are final sales. Distillers may sell non‑alcoholic add‑ins for customers to use after purchase.
Beginning November 1, 2026, licensed distilleries can give free samples of their own spirits to adults 21 and older. Each visitor can get up to 3 fluid ounces per day. Sampling must happen in a marked area on the premises shown on a floor plan filed with the ABLE Commission. People under 21 cannot enter that area during sampling. Samples are not treated as sales, but they count as product removed for excise tax reporting and must be reported.
This law takes effect on November 1, 2026. On that date, the new tasting, sales site, event, cap, and final‑sale rules start.
