Stuttering now covered by Precious Cargo

Beginning July 1, 2026, the law treats communication stuttering as a medical condition under Tennessee’s Precious Cargo program. If you stutter, you are covered when the program uses the term “medical condition.” This recognizes stuttering as a speech and fluency disorder for the program.
