More Tennessee public records now open

The law removes five exemptions in Tennessee’s public records law. It deletes §10-7-504 subdivisions (a)(4)(H)(ii), (a)(31)(F), (a)(32)(B), (f)(9), and (u)(5). Records that were blocked by those exemptions are now open to request and review. The rest of the public records law stays the same. The law takes effect immediately upon becoming a law.
