More scholarships for Utah special education teachers

Beginning May 6, 2026, Utah-resident licensed teachers seeking to become special education teachers are eligible for Grow Your Own scholarships. A participating local education agency selects candidates. Scholarships can cover tuition, books, fees, and license or certification tests. The law does not guarantee an award or set a scholarship amount. It provides no new funding itself; program funding depends on separate appropriations.
