Clearer library tax notices for homeowners

This law covers property in Utah first-class counties where a city library tax levy applies. County auditors must list that levy separately on property valuation and tax-change notices. County treasurers must also include it on property tax bills. The requirement applies beginning January 1, 2026; the amendments take effect May 6, 2026. The valuation-notice rule is updated again effective July 1, 2026. These notice changes do not change the tax owed.
