More Utah outdoor projects qualify for grants

Beginning May 6, 2026, more projects qualify for Utah's outdoor recreation grants. Eligible work includes building, improving, or restoring approved outdoor facilities, installations, or natural features. These projects must be needed for the public to access and enjoy Utah's outdoors. Restoring a waterbody qualifies when it supports water-related outdoor recreation. This change does not provide funding or set grant amounts.
