Beginning July 1, 2025, Wyoming changes the tax vote schedule for senior citizen service districts whose voters approve levy authorization. The first vote to impose the levy occurs at the first general election four years after district authorization, rather than two. Votes then occur every four years until the levy is defeated. The levy cap stays at 2 mills, and this law does not itself impose a tax. If voters reject imposing or continuing the levy, it cannot return to the ballot for at least one year.
