Schools lose extra annual county fund payment

The law ends Wyoming school districts’ extra county school fund payment on June 20 or the preceding last business day. County treasurers continue dividing all county school fund money on the second Monday of each month. This includes the fund’s principal, interest, fines, and forfeitures. Districts keep their existing shares, and treasurers must pay them immediately after dividing the money. The law took effect immediately upon enactment.
