Beginning July 1, 2025, Wyoming carriers can get one-year permits to haul prefabricated buildings, panels, and trusses. Permits allow separate moves or extended movement periods and cost $400 each. Loads must meet indivisible-load rules, meaning they cannot be split. Loads cannot exceed 162 inches wide or 15 feet tall. The law requires Wyoming's Department of Transportation to adopt implementing rules; this requirement took effect when the act became law.
