New anthrax alerts for ranchers and vets
Beginning January 1, 2026, the Wyoming Livestock Board must run a standard alert system for anthrax. The Board must notify livestock producers, veterinarians, brand inspectors, and other agencies when there are positive tests. The Board must also write rules to carry out these alerts. Most of this law starts January 1, 2026, but Sections 2, 3, and 4 take effect upon enactment.
