Farm tourism joins Wyoming’s recreation safety law

Beginning July 1, 2025, Wyoming’s Recreation Safety Act covers qualifying farm tourism activities. Activities must take place on a farm, ranch, or other agricultural business for education, recreation, or entertainment. They must involve watching or joining in producing, harvesting, raising, or processing farm products or livestock. Activities involving the farm’s related natural, historical, or cultural resources also qualify. Examples include tours, hands-on experiences, and hospitality services that serve these purposes.
