Wyoming’s Governmental Claims Act now treats volunteers and school district employees serving as roadway crossing guards as public employees. Coverage applies while they serve on behalf of a legally organized Wyoming public school district. The Act’s legal protections and rules for liability claims apply to these guards. The change took effect immediately upon enactment.
