Beginning July 1, 2025, Wyoming county treasurers must withhold some monthly property tax payments on mineral production. This applies to governments that do not levy, or lack authority to levy, the specified taxes for that tax year. Treasurers hold that money until the final tax reconciliation, then distribute it under the law’s rules. Other monthly collections remain due for distribution by the tenth day of the month after receipt. Taxes collected after final reconciliation remain due for distribution by the tenth day of the month after collection.
