Beginning July 1, 2025, groups that want to form a new political party in Wyoming follow a new timeline. You can start collecting signatures on March 1 of the year before the general election. You must file the petition with the Secretary of State by May 1 of the election year, instead of June 1. This gives more time to gather names but requires filing one month earlier.
