Fixes the outer boundary of Everglades National Park under section 410o to include a specific area shown on the Everglades base map NP–EVE–7109, revised August 10, 1949. The boundary starts at the south right-of-way of U.S. Highway 41 (the Tamiami Trail) at the west line of township 54 south, range 37 east, and then follows many township and section lines, the southwest right-of-way of U.S. Highway 1, a line 200 feet from the Intracoastal Waterway near the Ravlin tract, straight lines to points defined by coordinates (including a point near Long Key Light at about longitude 80°50′W, latitude 24°51′N and a point near Oxford Bank Light at about longitude 81°00′40″W, latitude 24°59′10″N), and other straight lines set 2 or 3 miles off Cape Sable and along points in the Gulf, finally returning to the starting point. Also includes land the United States bought by deeds dated January 25, 1954 (recorded in Monroe County, book OR–3, pages 302–308) accepted by the National Park Service on April 7, 1954, and deeds dated February 27, 1954 (recorded in Monroe County, book OR–2, pages 378–381) accepted by the National Park Service on April 5, 1954. The Secretary of the Interior may also accept by donation up to 35 acres in or near Everglades City if needed for park use.
