New website for disability Medicaid help

HHS must create a public website for people with disabilities and their families within 3 years. It lists which states offer disability-based Medicaid and each state’s rules. It gives links and phone numbers for every state Medicaid office. It explains long-term services and supports and, where available, shows the average time new enrollees spent on a home- and community-based services waiver waitlist over the past year. HHS promotes the site, including work with Social Security during Red Book updates. The law lets HHS skip some Paperwork Reduction Act steps to speed this work.
