Remove U.S. Armed Forces from hostilities in Lebanon is the bill's main goal. Remove U.S. forces from Lebanon

If adopted by both chambers, this concurrent resolution would direct the President to remove United States Armed Forces from any hostilities in Lebanon not later than 7 days after the date of adoption. It would also state that nothing in the resolution may be construed as authorizing the use of military force. It would further state that nothing in the resolution prevents security cooperation with the Lebanese Armed Forces or the protection of diplomatic facilities.
