End federal funds for NPR and PBS
If enacted, the government would stop all federal funding for NPR and PBS. The ban would start after the date of enactment and cover direct and indirect support. Public radio and TV stations that get federal money could not use it to buy NPR or PBS shows or pay dues. Any successor organizations would also be covered. The bill lists no exceptions in this section, and households could see fewer NPR or PBS programs on public stations that rely on federal funds.
