Help for schools to teach Armenian Genocide

This bill would create a Library of Congress program to support Armenian Genocide education. The Librarian could fund or partner with local school districts, independent schools, and groups that work with them, with priority for places that do not yet teach this topic. It would develop and share online and print materials, traveling exhibits, and teacher training such as workshops and fellowships, and support research to see what works. The Librarian would keep a public web page with best practices and answer questions. Annual reports to Congress would be due by February 1 each year, starting in 2026. It would authorize $2 million a year for FY 2026 and the next four years, and allow private donations in a dedicated gift account used only for this program.
