Shift to state control of Yellowstone grizzlies

The Interior Department would have to reissue a 2017 rule that removed Greater Yellowstone grizzly bears from the federal endangered list. It would have 180 days after enactment to do this. The reissue would ignore other laws and could not be reviewed in court. If this happens, states in the region would manage these bears instead of the federal government. This could ease federal limits for ranchers and hunters, but reduce federal wildlife protections.
