Became Law

Summary

Conveys 3.372 acres in Anchorage to the Southcentral Foundation for health and social services. The Secretary of Health and Human Services must transfer all U.S. right, title, and interest in the specified Lot 1A parcel to Southcentral Foundation within two years by warranty deed. The conveyance requires no payment, imposes no conditions on SCF, and includes no U.S. reversionary interest. The warranty deed overrides any prior quitclaim deed. The Secretary may keep easements needed to satisfy any retained obligations. SCF is not liable for preexisting soil, water, groundwater, or other contamination on the property as described and the Secretary must follow CERCLA section 120(h) in carrying out the transfer.
