Religious vaccine opt-out for families and staff
If enacted, K-12 schools that take federal education funds could only require vaccines if they allow a simple religious opt-out. You could state that a vaccine conflicts with a sincere religious belief. A parent or guardian could do this for a child under 18. Schools would not be allowed to ask for proof or other paperwork. This would cover vaccines tied to enrollment, attendance, sports, other activities, or jobs at the school.
