More watershed help for farmers

If enacted, this bill would add Emergency Watershed Protection measures (the projects described in section 403 of the Agricultural Credit Act of 1978) to the list of activities eligible under the USDA Regional Conservation Partnership Program. This would let RCPP partnerships, grants, and agreements include those watershed protection projects. The change would take effect upon enactment and would affect producers, landowners, and local sponsors who apply to RCPP.
