Recognizing and celebrating the significance of Black history museums and cultural institutions.
Sponsored By: Representative Pressley, Ayanna [D-MA-7]
Introduced
Summary
Black history museums and cultural institutions are essential to telling the full and accurate history of the United States. The resolution would urge the National Endowment for the Humanities, the National Endowment for the Arts, the Institute of Museum and Library Services, the National Park Service, and the United States Semiquincentennial Commission to partner with and support these institutions and would call on Americans to visit and support them as the Nation marks its 250th anniversary.
