Allow IRA rollovers to donor-advised funds
If enacted, this bill would let you roll over money from your IRA to a donor-advised fund. That transfer would count as a qualified charitable distribution for tax purposes. The bill would remove the current exclusion of donor-advised funds from the IRA rollover rule. It would apply only to distributions made after the date of enactment.
