The resolution extends congratulations to the people of North Macedonia on their 34th independence anniversary and honors shared values of freedom, democracy, and good governance. It recognizes the Vermont National Guard partnership, praises North Macedonia’s NATO membership and commitment to the Prespa Agreement, and commends the country’s role supporting regional stability, humanitarian aid to Ukraine, and alignment with EU and U.S. foreign policy. The resolution looks toward many more decades of cooperation and friendship.
