Colorado funds state IT projects

The law transfers $70,811,334 on July 1, 2024; $20,557,433 on July 1, 2025; and $3,646,420 on April 1, 2026. The money moves from the General Fund to the Information Technology Capital Account in the Capital Construction Fund. The state treasurer and controller make the transfers on those dates as money is available. These transfers are outside the normal annual appropriations limit and are in addition to other required transfers. The funds support state IT capital projects, not direct payments to households.
