Parents get abuse-reporting and camera policies

Beginning August 12, 2026, child care centers must give parents their written policies. The policies must say that center workers are mandatory reporters of child abuse or neglect. If the center uses cameras, it must explain how recording works, how long footage is kept, and how it is deleted. The center must also explain privacy limits and who can see the footage, including parents and legal access rules.
