Grain and cotton fund fee pauses

The law sets new balance thresholds for pausing Grain and Cotton Indemnity Fund assessments. Collection stops July 1 following the fiscal year when the Louisiana Agricultural Finance Authority balance reaches $25 million. After that pause, collection resumes if the balance falls below $22 million. Assessments collected after reaching $25 million but before the pause stay with the Authority.
