More activities for virtual and homeschooled students

Louisiana students in approved home study programs or virtual schools can seek spots in public school activities and school-to-school sports. They must live in the school's attendance zone and apply or try out in the same manner, time, and place as its students. They must qualify and meet the same ongoing requirements, including a minimum grade point average and behavior standards. Failure to meet those academic or behavior standards is grounds for removal. Public schools cannot join or participate in athletic groups that exclude students solely because of home study or virtual school enrollment.
