Louisiana authorizes state land transfers to Brownell

The law authorizes Louisiana's commissioner of administration to transfer or lease two St. Martin Parish properties to Brownell Land Company, LLC. Tract 1 covers 76.00 acres (tax parcel 2900001514); Tract 2 covers 49.40 acres (tax parcel 2900001521). The state keeps all mineral rights. Brownell must provide value proportional to the property's appraised value, with payment and other terms set in formal agreements. The act became effective upon the governor's signing. It authorizes the deal but does not establish that a transfer has happened.
