Alexandria expands hearings for ordinance violations

In Alexandria, housing violations now include building-code, zoning, vegetation, nuisance, sewerage, and drainage ordinance violations. The city can use its existing administrative hearing procedures for licensing and permit matters. It can also use these procedures for other ordinance violations selected by the city's governing authority. The law sets no new fees, penalties, or household payments.
