Oklahoma program for kids' investment accounts

The law creates the Oklahoma Dream Account Investment Program. The State Treasurer runs the program. It also sets up the Oklahoma Trump Account Investment Fund to hold and pay program money. The fund is a continuing, revolving fund, not limited to one fiscal year. The Treasurer can receive, budget, and spend this money for the program.

One-time $250 for kids' accounts

Parents can get a one-time $250 deposit into a child's Trump Account. The child must be under 18, a U.S. citizen with a Social Security number, live in Oklahoma, and already have the account. You must apply on the State Treasurer's form. The Treasurer pays after checking eligibility and federal limits, and only while program funds last. Payments go in the order verified applications are received, and no deposit is made if federal rules forbid it.
