Firearm neutrality pledge for state vendors

Beginning November 1, 2025, Oklahoma governmental contracts for goods or services worth $100,000 or more and paid with public funds must include a written pledge. Companies with at least 10 full-time employees must state they do not and will not discriminate against firearm businesses or firearm trade groups. Normal choices about what products a vendor sells, or actions required by law, do not count as discrimination. The rule does not apply to sole‑source deals or when no bidder can give the pledge, and it does not apply to investment services contracts. The state Purchasing Division reviews contracts to make sure the pledge is in place.
