No license for youth and charity food sales

The law removes license and permit rules for some small food sales at public events. If you are 18 or younger, you can sell baked goods (homemade or otherwise), soft drinks, or similar foods without a license. If you are 19 or older, you can do this when you are supporting a 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose mission includes temporary housing for children placed with the Tennessee Department of Children’s Services. This applies only at public events and only to baked goods, soft drinks, and similar items. The law takes effect upon becoming law.
