Tennessee bans virtual currency kiosks

Beginning July 1, 2026, it is a crime to install or operate a virtual currency kiosk in Tennessee. Violators face a Class A misdemeanor. The rule covers kiosk owners, operators, managers, and anyone who lets a kiosk be placed on their property. The law also defines what counts as a kiosk and who is an operator for enforcement.
