New rules for Trenton City Recorder

The law creates the City Recorder office. The Mayor appoints and the Board of Mayor and Aldermen must confirm. The Recorder handles city money, budgets, and official records and keeps the city seal. The Recorder attends Board meetings, reports on city finances, and collects city taxes and fees. The Recorder works under the Mayor, serves with no set end date, and must live in Gibson County within six months and stay a resident. These changes apply only after a two-thirds city vote.

Trenton must approve by two-thirds vote
