Beginning July 1, 2025, after a termination or nonrenewal notice is delivered by hand, certified mail, or email, you may not use the unit. The notice must give you at least 15 days from delivery to remove all items. The owner may set reasonable access limits during removal, like no access outside office hours. If your contract includes a disposal notice, the owner may dispose of items left after the date in the notice, which must be more than 15 days after termination or nonrenewal.
Beginning July 1, 2025, if the owner delivers a written change by hand, first-class mail, or email, your continued use for 30 days or more counts as acceptance. This is true even if you do not sign the change. The rule applies only when the owner uses one of those delivery methods.
