The law updates a date in Tennessee’s hotel tax rules for metropolitan governments to May 21, 2026. This keeps local hotel occupancy taxes in metro areas in effect through May 21, 2026. It does not change the tax rate, what is taxed, who collects it, or enforcement. The law takes effect immediately.
